I had a great weekend with my friend trying new pastries, brunch, coffee and tacos!
Wanted to share some of these great spots with you – pictures included!
- Rintintin Restaurant – SoHo
A great restaurant in general, not just for brunch! Everything has a middle eastern twist to it. For example, brunch had olives, pickled eggplants, roasted tomatoes, hummus, etc
We got avocado toast, roasted potatoes, the Breakfast skillet (OMG SO GOOD!), and the Middle Eastern Breakfast.

- Joe & the Juice – SoHo
This place is awesome! It looks so cool and huge inside. Has amazing artwork, lots of comfy chairs and wooden tables. Best part though is the coffee is on point. I need to go back and actually sit and work…or pretend to work and just soak in all the hipster and coffee glory.

- Pommes Frites – West Village
My favorite fries. Ahh so good. We got the Especial Sauce, Jalapeños, Sweet Mango Chutney, Pesto Mayo, Sweet Chili
Ones that I want to try next time: Curry Ketchup, Roasted Garlic, Peanut Satay, Sambal, Cheddar, Blue Cheese, Black Truffle
Now, I want fries…

- Big Gay Ice Cream – West Village
If you want ice cream with oodles of toppings and your ice cream literally dipped in chocolate, wafers or caramel, you need to try this.
I’ve tried two different kinds already and both have been hits.
The base ice cream though is like the ice cream you can get in any of the trucks. So come here if you want something over the top, or a sundae, or a milkshake!

- Tacos – Chelsea, High Line
After walking the High Line, I grabbed these bad boys! So delish! I tried the beef and the chicken. Both good, but small so definitely get at least one if you’re hungry!

Any places you love eating or drinking at? Let me know, I want to try!
