I took the bus up here from NYC to Boston. It was a pretty easy 4 hour drive. This really should be an ice cream post since I had at least 3 ice cream excursions while I was there, but I also had multiple coffee, and book store excursions.
I fell in love with Boston when I landed. It’s like New York but wider and cleaner and people are a lot nicer! I did a lot of walking my first night which was great since I basically walked from downtown to where I was staying. I definitely got the feel of the city, right then and there.
During my visit, besides trying out lots of ice cream, donuts, pastries and coffee, I went paddling, to book stores, to MIT, to Harvard, to new restaurants, shops, and parks.
Unplanned, one of the days, my friend and I ended up walking in the rain, pouring rain, for 20 minutes. We got home and we were soaking, but it was a wonderful end to a most wonderful day in Boston.
